Dr. Gerhard Eschenröder to become CEO of Vossloh AG
Effective March 1, 2006, the Supervisory Board of Vossloh AG has appointed Dr. Gerhard Eschenröder as member and, at the same time, Chairman of the Executive Board. The 52-year-old succeeds Burkhard Schuchmann who had resigned from the Company as of December 31, 2005.In the course of his career to date, Dr. Eschenröder held senior positions at Gerresheimer Glas AG subsidiaries, was General Manager at Vitakraft-Werk, Bremen, and from 1995 to the end of 2005 first General Manager and since 2003 Management Board Chairman of Essen-based Ruhrgas Industrie GmbH.
