Vossloh is awarded a major contract by the Chinese Ministry of Railways
Subject to possible objections, Vossloh Fastening Systems (China) Co. Ltd. has been awarded a major contract through the Chinese Ministry of Railways for the supply of high-speed rail fastener systems. The volume of this latest deal totals around €140 million, shipments essentially to take place in 2011. The related agreements will be signed within the coming weeks. The fastener systems are intended for the major portion of the Lanzhou–Urumqi line in northwestern China. In 2009, Vossloh had already been awarded a megacontract for fitting out the Beijing–Shanghai line.Werdohl, August 23, 2010
