Securing mobility starts today

Securing Mobility. Pioneering Progress.

Railways move our world. They connect cities, economies and people, but the demands on infrastructure are changing. Trains are getting heavier, traffic volumes are increasing and environmental conditions are becoming more unpredictable. Rail fasteners that have functioned reliably for decades now have to cope with much more challenging conditions. Understanding these developments and deriving robust technical solutions has always been crucial to ensuring long-term mobility.

BenefitsSolutions that shape railway infrastructure worldwide

Innovation rarely comes out of nowhere. It rather builds on experience. For over a century, we have been contributing to the development of modern rail fastening systems. From early fastening systems to the invention of the M-Generation tension clamp, our solutions continue to shape railway infrastructure worldwide to this day.

This know-how forms the basis for identifying future requirements at an early stage and translating them into new system solutions. In order to operate tracks in a stable and reliable manner in the long term, these challenges must be approached holistically.

The next step in the development of rail fastenings

In order to meet the growing demands of modern railway infrastructure, fastening systems also need to be continuously improved.

The M-Generation is our response to these developments. The tension clamp’s characteristic geometry with wider spring arms and optimized contact points has been specifically designed to provide reliable performance even under demanding conditions.

Embedded in the MFlex® systems, it enables flexible applications for a wide range application – from high-speed to heavy haul and urban lines.

From Asia to Europe and North America, MFlex® systems are already proving their performance in daily operation. They secure rail infrastructure on ballasted and slab track, in tight curves, on very high-speed lines and under high axle loads in a wide range of climate conditions.
