Engineered Polymer Pad

The Engineered Polymer Pad (EPP) Ballast Shield is Vossloh's sustainable sleeper pad for a longer service life of ballast superstructure and track components. By increasing the contact area between the sleeper and the ballast, EPP improves lateral track stability, reduces vibrations, and extends tamping intervals – thereby reducing operational disruptions and life cycle costs.
