In many urban rail networks, the challenge is not top speed. It is the constant stop-and-go operation, sensitive surroundings and increasing demands on passenger comfort and quality of life. Therefore, the rail infrastructure has to do more than just ensure safe and efficient operations. It is also about protecting the surrounding environment from vibrations, while keeping installation practical and on-site complexity low. 

This is exactly where our 400 MFlex® comes in. Designed for ballasted and even more effectively for slab tracks, the system was developed for applications that require maximum vibration mitigation without making installation unnecessarily complex.

With 400 MFlex®, rail infrastructure becomes quieter, more adaptable and easier to install. Where demanding environments require more than standard elasticity, the system offers a practical solution with strong damping performance and low complexity. This helps operators address critical vibration challenges without adding unnecessary effort to installation and maintenance.    

Designed for maximum vibration mitigation: Targeted vibration reduction of more than 15 dB for highly vibration-sensitive applications.   

Modular, low-complexity solution: Simplified assembly reduces installation time, manpower and overall cost on site. 

Quick and cost-effective installation: Installation on common sleeper designs using standard track tools, with no hydraulic presses or special equipment required.  

 

High damping performance should not automatically mean a highly complicated system. We follow a different approach: modular where needed, reduced where possible and practical for both new projects and upgrades.

Different projects require flexible adaptation in the track. 400 MFlex® supports this with practical adjustment options and a low-complexity design that keeps installation efficient on site.  
Convenient adjustments: Flexible adaptation to installation requirements by up to + 30 mm in height and up to ± 20 mm in track gauge.
Quick installation: Compatible with common sleeper designs and installable with standard track tools – without hydraulic presses or special equipment.
Suitable for new and existing lines: 400 MFlex® can be used for newly built projects as well as infrastructure upgrades.

The technical data demonstrates the performance of the fastening system with examples, although this always depends on external factors and influences. The reference values are based on the requirement standard DIN EN 13481-2 and DIN EN 13481-5; other applications are proven and can be provided based on request.
