A simple principle
A wine glass is very sturdy/solid, until vibration reaches the critical natural frequency. Then failure occurs almost instantly.
Rail infrastructure follows a similar physical principle. When fastening components are exposed to repeated dynamic loads and critical frequencies, material fatigue and breakages can occur over time. In modern rail networks with increasing speeds and loads, managing these forces is more important than ever. The M-Generation was developed to address exactly these dynamics.
Optimized design:
Enlarged contact area between tension clamp and rail resulting in higher torsional resistance and reduced material stress.
Increased natural frequency:
Improving the tension clamp’s fatigue strength for more reliability and long-term use.
