Trusted local expertise. A stronger global network. One shared vision for the future of rail infrastructure across North America.

Story | July 2026

Built on Experience. Connected for the Future.

Built on decades of trusted local expertise, Vossloh Tie Technologies is strengthening its North American business through one global brand, enhanced engineering collaboration and the same commitment to customers.

The Infrastructure Behind Every Journey

Every day, North America´s railways move essential goods, connect metropolitan regions and support industries that rely on safe and reliable transportantion. Behind every successful journey lies infrastructure engineered to perform under demanding conditions for decades.

Althought passengers rarely notice the concrete ties beneath the rails, they are fundamental to maintaining track geometry, ensuring operational reliability and supporting the long-term performance of railway networks.

Built on Local Expertise

For more than five decades, Rocla Concrete Tie in the United States and RCTI de Mexico have contributed to exactly this mission. Working closely with freight railroads, passenger operators and transit authorities, both organisations have developed concrete tie solutions tailored to local operating conditions. Their success has always been built on close customer relationships, engineering expertise and local manufacturing.

Connected Through Global Engineering

Rail infrastructure is becoming increasingly complex. Infrastructure owners are expected to improve network availability, extend asset life, reduce maintenance costs and support more sustainable transportation.

This is where the intregation into Vossloh Tie Technologies creates additional value. Today, engineering expertise from North America is connected with knowledge from Europe and Australia. Local production remains close to customers while engineering teams increasingly collaborate across regions, sharing innovation, manufacturing experience and best practices. For customers, this means continuity where it matters most and broader capabilites where they create value.

More Than Concrete Ties

Concrete ties remain at the heart of the North American business. At the same time, customers increasingly benefit from access to a wider range of rail infrastructure capabilities including rail fastening systems, turnout technologies, lifecycle services and digital monitoring solutions. Together, these capabilities support a more integrated approach to railway infrastructure and help operators optimise performance over the entire lifecycle of their assets.

One Global Identity

Against this background, the legal entity changes taking effect on July 1, 2026, represent another visible milestone in the ongoing integration of Vossloh Tie Technologies.

Rocla Concrete Ties, Inc. officially becomes Vossloh Tie Technologies USA, Inc., while RCTI de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. becomes Vossloh Tie Technologies Mexico S. de R. L. de C.V. The new names reflect how the organistion already works today: locally rooted, internationally connected and united by one global identity.

Moving Forward

Most importantly, what customers value remains unchanged. The experienced people remain. The production facilities remain. Trusted customer relationships remain. Engineering expertise remains. What has changed is access to a stronger global Vossloh network that shares knowledge, accelerates innovation and delivers an even broader range of solutions for rail infrastructure owners.

Railways are built with a long-term perspective, and so is Vossloh Tie Technologies. As freight volumens grow, passenger mobility evolves and infrastructure requirements continue to change, the organisation remains focused on helping railway operators build resilient, reliable and sustainable networks. The legal entity changes are therefore not the end of a transformation. They are another important milestone in a journey built on experiences, strengthened throught collaboration and focused on the future of rail infrastructure across North America.
